So we got a visit from the cardiologist this week. The hole in Ava's heart is a lot bigger than what they initally thought. That means sooner surgery. After talking to the surgeon... they decided to try and get her to grow faster which prob means g-tube. Which means she'll be able to come home for a bit before her heart surgery :) Tomorrow the surgeon that did the surgery on her esophogus and stomach comes back from vaca and will finally do another swallow study. It will be up to him to decide if he wants to do a g-tube or give her more time to eat. I'm just ready for my baby to come home, even if it is just for a little while. I wake up a few times a night thinking I hear her crying and then remembering oh yeah she's still at the hospital. Or I have these weird random dreams that I forgot to wake up and feed her... but she's not here... If she does get the g-tube she'll be in there another couple of weeks and then will be able to come home. If she's gaining weight like she should theyll wait a couple months to do her surgery. The bigger the baby the less risk!!!! If she doesnt gain they'll have to do it sooner. She's already showing signs of congestive heart failure which scares the heck out of me, but we know the signs to look for at home, plus she's on two medicines. She's a trooper. My strong girl!!! On that note I got the sweetest message from some random girl on myspace today. It brought tears to my eyes knowing that a stranger my family doesnt even know took the time out to message me to let me know she would pray for my baby girl. So sweet. Prayer really does miracles!!!

Sooooo how's everyone? I'm good, kinda tired and a bit wore out but good. Not sure why I'm tired, I literally sit at the hospital all day but I'm tired. It's prob because I'm pregnant again. Just Kidding! Got ya mom didn't I? No more babies for me well not anytime in the near future that is. I go see Clark next week for the good ol' pap. (ugh i hate those big tong opener thingys!) The following week I get my 5 year birth control, uti is it? You would think I knew these things, but then again I did get pregnant didn't I. HA! Just kidding again :) (kinda)She' Good thing is I get to see the hot doc one more time before my yearlys... he's going to miss me I just know it! So Ava's about the same. She did start showing signs of congestive heart failure a couple days ago. The dr's put her on some meds and are keeping an eye on it. If she stays the same or gets worse they'll move her heart surgery up. The doctors are going to start talking G-tube to us prob by the end of the week. If she starts showing that she can eat more they'll hold off, but it's not looking like it. With her heart condition it wears her out and makes her sleepy so she can't eat enough. After her heart surgery that should all change. She'll be a lot stronger and won't get tired quite so fast. My poor baby. She's going threw more than what most of us go threw in a life time and it breaks my heart!!! She's strong and won't remember any of it I know. Plus she's prob going to be a tom-boy (since I'm so into her shopping and loving girly stuff) so she'll have "some cool scars" to show her friends. I'll know more by the beginning of next week as far as the g tube goes. Her aunt and uncle are coming up this weekend. YAY! They get to see baby Ava for the FIRST time. I get to see Elizabeths belly for the FIRST time!!! I bet it's a girl. Sorry Phil and Diane you guys just aren't going to get any boys anytime soon ;) Maybe when Phillip has kids... He'll be your boy producer! Ava discovered her thumb for the FIRST time Monday. Possibly the cutest thing EVER! I got some video of her trying today, I'll try to load it for everyone to see. My mom bought her a bouncy seat, which she loves. I took a pic of it so everyone could see how tiny she really is. For some reason she looks like a giant in every picture I take??? Ralph took Eric, Dawson, Aryssa, and I to Ruth Chris today. It was my FIRST time eating there, the steak was really good but I think I like St Elmos better. Maybe that's why I'm tired, eating all that food can wear you out! Aryssa really enjoyed the womens bathrooms, yes I got a picture. I got some dessert that I better hurry and get to. Eric didn't get any and ten bucks says he's downstairs eating it ;) Oh and last but not least Dawson started school Monday. He likes it so far, yipeeeeeeee! He's also been playing with the little girl across the street, I think he has his first crush, whooo hoooo. Nobody say anything to him though he'll get embarrassed and won't play with her anymore. OHHHHHH and BIG news, we had to break the news to him that Santa is fake. Along with the easter bunny, tooth fairy, etc.... lol. I thought he was going to be devastated so I made grandmommy do it. He did good with it though, a lot better than I expected. OK well I better go eat my banana stuff before it's all gone. P.S. I buttoned another pair of jeans today. Lifes getting better and better everyday :)

Hey everyone, sorry I haven't wrote in a while, been busy!! Ms. Ava is 3 weeks old :) Getting bigger, stronger, and prettier every day. She hasn't lost her hair yet either Christa... Not much change since last time I wrote. We're just waiting on her to eat so she can come home. If she doesn't start within the next couple of weeks I think they're going to go ahead and put a G-tube in her. I hope it doesnt come to that, but we'll see. She's strong I know she'll pick up on the eating thing here soon. Today she was starving. I was giving her a bath and she was going nuts trying to eat her hands! That's a good sign! I'll post some pictures up. I put her in a daddy outfit and took pics so he could see her since he wasnt able to make it up today. She weighed 5 pounds 9 ounces today. One scary thing we have to start looking for signs of is congestive heart failure. Just the name alone is scary. Everytime I think of it happening to my baby I get sick to my stomach. It usually starts between 4 and 6 weeks. As much as I want her to come home I'd rather all that biz happen up there. They will put her on a medicine and if all goes well hopefully hold her off until she's somewhere between 4 and 6 months to do her heart surgery. I dread that day. I wish they could just do it now. I have a feeling that's going to be harder than this first surgery was.

Sooooo everyone have a good weekend so far? Except for poor Christa. Darn kids ruin everything don't they? hehe j-k!!! We had a girls night out Friday to go and watch Chippendales perform at 8 seconds. Little miss Emma decided she didnt want her mom to go and threw up all over her. She's been teething, so that's prob all it was, nothing too serious. Still though, little brat :) Wish I could say I had no fun without you but that soooo wasn't the case. Those chippendales are funny! Them and their nasty banana flingin selves. What is it they put in their underwear or dental floss as my mother calls it? You know they're not all that big down there, I mean seriously... FUNNY FUNNY FUNNY! After two hours (literally) of watching them put t-shirts on girls they finally started the show. It was supposed to start at 8 but didnt until after 9. It was a good and deff entertaining show! Eric and Phillip were waiting on us so we had to leave before the end. I'm still upset I didnt get to see the finale. They come out into the audience and start dancing on you if you have money. Well I was just standing their minding my buisness and one of them chased me around the darn bar, lol. I told him I didn't have any dollars. Eric wouldnt give me the ones in his wallet, he spent them on lunch so I couldnt take them. hehehehehe. Anyway as much as I'd love to go on about these naked "strait" men I can't because my movies back on :) Sorry Lifetime wins on this one :) Have fun with the pictures.
