So as most of you know, my wedding didn't go exactly as planned. For those of you that don't, let me do the honors ;) Well for starters, Kam's and I went to get our nails done... only to have one of the workers little boy's in my face throwing magazines, spitting all over me, and handling Kami's 8,000 dollar ring. Finally what seemed like ten hours later we were done and ready to leave... only for me to go back in and have the girl fix my polish. She layered it on so thick it kept smearing. I don't think it dried until we landed in Cancun. Kami... finally got her ring back, and after a much needed day to get pampered with no kid, which didn't happen, we were off. Now for the wedding, hmmmmm, where should I start. Oh I know, the flowers. I am pretty sure I have never been so mad. Well other than right now, because the Colts are about to loose. OK, back to the flowers. Well they were supposed to be black magic roses with calla lilies that were a reddish orange color. My flowers weren't black magic, but red roses, with bright fluorescent orange calla lilies. My maid of honors flowers had dandelions in them. After calling the florist and her doing nothing, not that she could, considering the wedding was a couple hours away and she was an hour away, we decided to pick the dandelions aka marigolds out of Christas bouquet. The "greenery" which I wanted none of, looked fake. The pew flowers came from the Jetsons era. I had to have my mom bring in black tulle and have my hair girl wrap the tulle around them to cover the gigantic white bows. Which by the way I told her numerous of times there was no white in my wedding, only ivory! After the wedding, the yummy yummy cocktails were left in a certain someones truck... It was a long ride in the limo heading downtown.... had nothing to get my mind off the flowers. Then we proceed to the Hilton. They btw did an awesome job on the reception!!! It was beautiful! Only problem was they gave my moms suite away. There was a Colts game that weekend so no suites left. On top of that Ava was in a terrible mood, we had no pack in play, so it was a loooong night for everyone. Ohhhh and the part as bad as the flowers was the cake! She totally did my cake wrong. I can't even get into because I'll just get so upset all over again. I'll eventually have more pictures for everyone to see. The ones I posted are just a few that the photographer posted on her facebook, and a few Christa took. Hopefully she was able to photo shop my frown brought on by the flowers and cake. ;) I guess getting married on Fri the 13th wasn't such a good idea. I was just trying to save everyone money on parking!!! Hey at least I didn't get left at the alter, I suppose. Although I'm wondering if it's too soon to renew my vows... Well, hope everyone enjoys the pictures. I'll have more to post once I get them back from my photographer. Ohhh and btw, for future wedding-ista's.... don't count on everyone that rsvp's on being there. We wasted aloooooooooooooooooooooot of money on people not showing up.
