Me and "grammy"

My mom made this stool!!!

It's like 5 in the morning, and my growling stomach woke me up. Now I can't go back to sleep. Oh well... I have all day right? I am getting to watch a newborn have heart surgery though. TLC has all the good baby shows on. How was everyones weekend? Well other than Christas, driving all the way to Sam's Club, only to buy nothing.!.! Mine was spectacular, other than a few mood swings. I'll be glad when this is over. No Ava that doesn't mean you can come out quite yet!! I do think everyone should be ready towards the end of July though, just a feeling. My mom threw a great shower this weekend! Best, cutest shower ever :) We all know I love presents, and yes there was lots and lots of presents. Ms. Ava will have lots and lots of clothes!!! I won't have to buy her any next summer. We know I will, but I won't need to. I didn't get any of the things that most people get 100 of. You know, nail clippers, snot suckers, bottle washers, diapers, wipes, that sort of thing, but I did get a few gift cards. I'll be using those for all of that stuff!!! I'm still not sure on what/if the baby will be on bottles so we're going to hold off on those until after her surgerys. My mom even got bags that matched the presents. CUTE CUTE CUTE! The cake was super cute, it had a prego chick on it made out of fondant, it was cute, and yummy! (for a white cake that is lol) That's ok my aunt (he-he) screwed my moms cake up for her birthday too. I got the one for the surprise party,it was perfect. J-K, it was really my fault my aunt messed it up. I do remind myself every now and then, choc. whipped, kroger. (right mom?)I thought it was choc. marsh, butter. He-he. I'm still the best daughter ;) OK about the shower... Everyone matched, that was fun. I love matching! We were kind of late to my own shower on account of that, but hey that's ok, my dress matched :) My mom bought Aryssa the cutest dress. It was brown with pink polka dots, I'll post a picture. Christa did a good job on the games. She also did a good job leaving a bag of about 12 candy bars laying around. She couldn't buy the minature ones could she? I think I've went threw and took a bite out of every one of them. That's ok, I'm getting my candy bar fix, I normaly don't like them, but for some reason Ava likes them. Diana won the grandma game. For those of you that weren't here, I had all of the grandmas paint a onsie for Ava to wear. Erics mom being the artist she is won!!! I'll post a picture of that too as soon as I get them. Well I'm going to attempt to post a few pictures now. When my mom emails me what she has, I'll post those as well. I promise after this pregnancy is over, I'l'l look better. I look awful in these pictures, ahhhhhhh! Don't be scared :) P.S. I'm a little bummed, we didnt' get pictures of everyone, like all the people at the shower. Who forgets to do that? Apparently I do. Oops I accidently put two of the same pictures on here, not sure how to get them off...

For some reason I can't write under these pictures on the bottom, I think everyone knows who everyone is though, right? Oh the punch fountain was a hit, other than Stacy and Kelli wanting to put some vodka in it, lol. THANK YOU everyone for everything. Ava's going to love it all. Well I'm going to anyway. I have a feeling I'l lbe taking lots of pictures, like one everyday of her in a diff outfit! At least for the first year anyway :) Mom thanks so much for throwing the shower you did a wonderful job!!!!! Christa, thanks for leaving the candybars :) Alec thanks for getting moon sand all over Dawson's floor, he won't stop talking about it, lol. My son is Mr. Clean, like ocd mr. clean, i love it though!!!!! Really though, thanks everyone, it's a shower I'll never forget!

Ava Jae Grace's first pee :)

So I've had an eventful weekend so far. My darling daughter in my stomach doesn't really want to be in my stomach at the moment. I was having contractions every couple of min. Fri. so I went to the hospital once again. Pretty soon I'm going to be inviting the nurses to my kids birthday partys. Anyway they put me on magnesium, yay, great. That stuff is horrible, I still can't walk right! It did the trick though, contractions slowed down. They werent as mellow as the doc would like so he decided to do an amnio reduction. All I have to say is OUCH! The needle going in was the easiest part. My blood pressure decided it wanted to go down, and that was the not so fun part! Not only was I on the verge of vomitting, they didnt have the right equipment, so this needle was hanging out in my stomach while the doc withdrew it the old fashion way for about 45 min. That was painful. I think all together it took a good hour. Thank God for Eric. He stood behind my head, squeezed my hand, then continually put ice rags on my face and fed me ice chips. If he wasn't there mr. docs white coat wouldn't have been white anymore! Have I said yet how much I love him? (eric not the doc.) So I escaped, or should I say they escaped from being puked on. So after a small dose of morphine and something else along with an hours worth of fluid being drawn, I feel way better, and am way smaller, and way way more comfy! They took 2500 cc's, basically a 2 liter bottle full of fluid out of me. Therefore I got to see my babys first pee this weekend, awwwwww how sweet :) Now I get to look foward to going in and doing it all over again in about a week prob. Hopefully it'll last a little longer but with her not swallowing it'll prob be relief for only a few short days, tear tear!!!! Whatever keeps her in there for a while longer works for me :) I'll keep everyone posted :)

Kami's wedding and pre-wedding

Here's some pictures from Kami's wedding. These are prob some of the more recent ones I have. I wish I had a picture of the cake!!! I'm going to try and write some captions under the pictures, not sure if they will turn out or not... Well, enjoy!

Todays doc appt.

Well I'm still a whale, a large large whale. We went to the specialist this morning and after talking with him decided I would wait for the amniocetesis. There's a risk with pre-term labor along with a few other things. Besides that I would only have relief for a few days, and the fluid would be back. I'm going to hold off as long as possible, hopefully she will too, a.nd then get it done. Maybe around 35 weeks. They did keep me a little while to moniter my lovely contractions, and decided to put me on procardia. It's the worse medicine EVER!!! I was on it when I was pregnant with Dawson and it's not fun. I already feel like crap and I've only had one dose. Oh- well what else is new? Well I'm super tired (another lovely side effect from this med.) so I'm going to take my daily nap. Sorry no pics today :( I promise I'll get some up soon. Oh Eric bought me a lawn chair today!!! That makes me happy. I can't wait to lay in it and get some sun. Now... I may not be able to get up but hey at least I'll get some sun. I'll just lay out till he gets home and can lift me with a crane to get out of it :) Oh another funny thing I want to share with everyone... Gavin and Dawson decided they want to know how the tadpole gets from the boy to the girl... I'm not ready to explain this one yet. Any ideas?

Avas room

So we finished Ava's room Monday!!! We're going to try and do Aryssas this weekend, and then it's Dawsons turn. One of these days we'll get to ours!!! I have so much fun doing their's though, I've completely forgotten about ours. Not sure how I could considering I lay in it 24/7 now. I'm so thankful for my mom and grandma. Her room would not look like it does if it wasn't for them, they've been amazing!!! Not only did they paint and hang the border, they bought everything, seriously. If not for them I'm sure it would have been something for free from craigs list or ebay. (j-k I love you Eric). Diane (Eric's mom) bought Ms. Ava her dresser, which btw looks so darn cute!!!! Thanks so much Diane, you saved my baby girl from the half of dresser with chewed up legs. I'm a lucky girl, I have the BEST family ever. It's been wonderful seeing everyone pull together at a time like this. Christa... I don't know where to start with you. Thanks for just listening to me breathe on the phone (or bitch, lol), it's helped a lot even if you don't realize it. Not everyone is so lucky to have a friend like you. You've helped me out so much with Dawson (teaching him how to use the mircrowave :) I'm not sure how I will ever repay you. I was sitting here last night thinking, wow what could I possibly do to EVER repay Christa and my parents for everything they've done... I'm still blank. So I guess I better start buying lottery tickets, hehe. I know these next few months are going to be the hardest ever, heck the next few years, but I know I have the best friend ever and the best family I can turn to no matter what. Thanks you guys rock, hehe. O.K, I now am going to try and upload some of the pics of Avas room...

OH and P.S. I had an ultra-sound and Ava has hair!!!!! Ha Christa!! For those of you that don't know her, all of her babies are bald :) She's weighing about 3 lbs 9 oz. She's growing and is exactly where she should be!!!
